I am thrilled to be Sand Creek International’s Principal. For the past 15 years, I have worked in the Harrison School District in many capacities. After graduating with a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, I began at Otero Elementary as a paraprofessional. My year as a paraprofessional inspired me to continue my education under an alternative licensure program. I then spent 10 years as a special education teacher. I have had the pleasure of being a Moderate Needs teacher, Significant Support Needs teacher, as well as a Communication and Social Development teacher. In May of 2017, I graduated from Argosy University with a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. In the fall of 2017, I began as the Assistant Principal at Otero Elementary School. Since then, I have served as an Assistant Principal and Interim Principal at Pikes Peak Elementary School.
When I am not working with the students, staff, and families of Harrison School District 2, you will find me hiking with my fur babies or enjoying time with family. I also love mountain biking, snowboarding, and camping.
I look forward to continuing my life's work in service of the Sand Creek International community. I am excited to partner with families, students, and staff to provide everyone with the best educational experience possible.
